You might find that the duration of time that you're actually shooting isn't enough to cause fatigue. What do you consider "long periods of time", and how much of that time will you be actually holding the camera up to your eye? You can probably put it on a monopod if you're worried, but I'd shoot it under your normal shooting conditions before spending the money on a monopod. I find it a lot easier to carry it when walking around people and stuff, and when going through doors and gates.
But, if you're going places like zoos, parks, etc., where there's people milling about, and you're walking a lot, you will find it hard to manage the lens on a monopod walking through and around people and obstacles. You have to figure if you're out in the woods, not walking around, a tripod or monopod is a good idea no matter what lens you're using.
99% of the time I'm holding it with no problems. Sometimes you just need better stability, like when on uneven ground, or if you are actually standing for a long time. I've used it on a monopod, and probably will again if need be, but not because of the weight. I've found that if you hold the lens kinda tucked like a football, or carry it upside-down by the tripod mount, it's a lot easier to get around people and doors and stuff. The download was successful, but I can't click the 'scan' icon as it's greyed out. This worked very well on my Win 10 desktop previously.

To move the cropping area, place the cursor within the white frame and drag it. I have a Windows 10 laptop, and I've downloaded My Image Garden as I want to scan some documents on my Pixma MG7150. Drag the white frame on the image to adjust the cropping area, then click Apply.

Refer to ' Scanning Photos ' for how to scan images. The view switches to Crop, and a white frame appears along the border of the image.
